in den Feldern

neko no koi, the * love of cats * is another kigo for the season, but this
morning, walking up to the mailbox the whole place was drenched with the
incredible poingnant semll of tanuki, our badger friends. So I made * tanuki
no koi * as my very own kigo today.

risshun is of course the correct kigo for the beginning of spring.
