   Social Security Changes

It does not matter if you personally like or dislike Bush. You need to
sign this petition and flood his e-mail box with e-mails that tell him
that, even if the House passes this bill, he needs to veto it. It is
already impossible to live on Social Security alone. If the government
gives benefits to 'illegal' aliens who have never contributed, where does
that leave those of us who have paid into Social Security all our working
lives? As stated below, the Senate voted this week to allow 'illegal'
aliens access to Social Security benefits. Attached is an opportunity to
sign a petition that requires citizenship for eligibility to that social
   service.

   Instr uctions are below.

If you don't forward the petition and just stop it, we will lose all these
names. If you do not want to sign it, please just forward it to everyone
you know. Thank you! To add your name, click on 'forward' or better yet,
'copy and paste' if you know how. You will be able to add your name at the
bottom of the list and then forward it to your friends.

When the petition hits 1,000, send it to comments@... v
   Instructions are
   Below.

   PETITION for President Bush:

   Dear Mr. President:
We, the undersigned, protest the bill that the Senate voted upon recently
which would allow illegal aliens to access our Social Security. We demand
that you and all Congressional representatives require citizenship as a
prerequisite for social services in the United States .

We further demand that there not be any amnesty given to illegals, NO free
services, no funding, no payments to and for illeg al immigrants. We are
fed up with the lack of action about this matter and are tired of 'paying'
   for services to illegals!

Instructions to sign are at the bottom.

Virus --CNN announced -- Snopes confirms as real.

PLEASE SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST!!

A new virus has just been discovered that has been classified by
Microsoft as the most destructive ever. This virus was discovered yesterday
afternoon by McAfee . This virus simply destroys Sector Zero from the hard
disk, where vital information for its functioning are stored.

This virus acts in the following manner:
It sends itself automatically to all contacts on your list with the
title:

'You've received a Post Card from a Family member'.

As soon as the supposed virtual card is opened the computer freezes so
that the user has to reboot. When the ctrl+alt+ del keys or the reset button
are pressed, the virus destroys Sector Zero, thus permanently destroying the
hard disk. Yesterday in just a few hours this virus caused panic in New York
, according to news broadcast by CNN.

This alert was received by an employee of Microsoft itself.

So don't open any mails with subject:'A Post Card from ' As soon as
you get the mail, delete it !! Even if you know the sender !!!

Please pass this mail to all of your friends.

Forward this to everyone in your address book. I'm sure most people,
like myself, would rather receive this notice 25 times than not at All.

I am with you, and will protect you wherever you go. Gen. 28:

       "If tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
       all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
       the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
       We didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
       I know you'll miss me too;

But when tomorrow starts without me,
       Please try to understand,
that an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,

And said my place was ready,
       In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
       all those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye,
For all my life, I'd always thought,
       I didn't want to die.

I had so much to live for,
So much left yet to do,
       it seemed almost impossible,
       that I was leaving you.

I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all that we shared,
And all the fun we had.

       If I could relive yesterday,
       Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you
       and maybe see you smile.

       But then I fully realized,
       That this could never be,
       For emptiness and memories,
would take the place of me.

And when I thought of worldly things,
       I might miss some tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home
When God looked down and smiled at me,
       From His great golden throne,

       He said, "This is eternity,
       And all I've promised you."
Today your l ife on earth is past,
       but here life starts anew.

       I promise no tomorrow,
Bu t today will always last,
and since each day is the same way,
There's no longing for the past.

So when tomorrow starts without me,
       don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart

Send this to all those you care about.... and back to the one who sent
it
because you never know what's going to happen tomorrow... Show them
how
you care, before it's too late.. May God watch over you and your
family
now and always. There is no right time to do the wrong thing.... there
is
no wrong time to tell someone you care.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am
your
God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you
with
       My righteous right hand.

"ICE" CAMPAIGN ~ In Case of Emergency

We all carry our mobile phones with names & numbers stored in its

memory but nobody, other than ourselves, knows which of these numbers

belong to our closest family or friends. If we were to be

involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us

would have our mobile phone but wouldn't know who to call. Yes, there

are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case

of an emergency? Hence this "ICE" (In Case of Emergency) campaign. The

concept of "ICE" is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact

during emergency situations.

As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you

need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who

should be contacted during emergency under the name "ICE" ( In Case

Of Emergency).

The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to

the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients,

but they didn't know which number to call. He therefore

thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally

recognized name for this purpose. In an emergency situation, Emergency

Service personnel and hospital Staff would be able to quickly contact

the right person by simply dialing the number you have stored as "ICE."

For more than one contact name, simply enter ICE1, ICE2, ICE3, etc. A

great idea that will make a difference! Let's spread the concept of

ICE by storing an ICE number in our Mobile phones now!

Please forward this. It won't take too many "forwards" before everybody

will know about this. It really could save your life, or put a loved

one's mind at rest. ICE will speak for you when you are not able to.

I received this recipe from a friend, it is a good one
for a new year.....

Recipe for a Happy New Year

Take 12 fine, full-grown months; see that these are thoroughly cleansed from
all old memories of
bitterness, rancor, hate, and jealousy.

Cut these months into 30 or 31 equal parts.
(This batch will keep for one year.
Do not attempt to make more than one batch
  at a time- . . .
many people spoil the entire lot in this way.)

Prepare one day at a time as follows:

Into each day, put 12 parts of faith,
11 of patience,
10 of courage,
nine of work (some people omit this ingredient and
spoil the flavor of the rest),
eight of hope,
seven of fidelity,
  six of open-mindedness,
five of kindness,
four of rest (leaving this out is like leaving the oil out of the salad- .
  . don't do it),
three of prayer,
two of meditation,
and one of well-selected resolution.

If you have no conscientious scruples,
add a teaspoonful of good spirits,
a dash of fun, a pinch of folly, a sprinkling
of play, and a heaping cupful of good humor.

Pour love liberally into the whole,
  and mix with vim.
Cook thoroughly in a fervent heat.
Garnish with a few smiles
  and a sprig of joy;
  then serve with quietness, unselfishness,
and cheerfulness-
and a Happy New Year is a certainty.

Thought for the Day 7%

A holy man was having a conversation
with the Lord one day and said.

"Lord, I would like to know what
       Heaven and Hell are like.

The Lord led the holy man to two
       doors.

He opened one of the doors and the
holy man looked in. In the middle of
the room was a large round table. In
the middle of the table was a large pot
of stew, which smelled delicious and
made the holy man's mouth water.
The people sitting around the table
were thin and sickly. They appeared to
       be famished. They were holding
spoons with very long handles that
were strapped to their arms and each
found it possible to reach into the pot
of stew and take a spoonful.

But because the handle was l onger
than their arms, they could not get the
       spoons back into their mouths.

The holy man shuddered at the sight
       of their misery and suffering.

The Lord said, "You have seen Hell.

They went to the next room and
opened the door. It was exactly the
same as the first one. There was the
large round table with the large pot of
stew which made the holy man's mouth
water. The people were equippe d with
the same long-handled spoons, but here
the people were well nourished and
plump, laughing and talking. The holy
       man said, "I don't understand.

It is simple," said the Lord.

"It requires but one skill. You see

they have learned to feed each
other, while the greedy think only
       of themselves."

When Jesus died on the cross, he was
thinking of you. Its estimated 93%
won't forward this. If you are one of
the 7% who will, forward this with the
       title "7%".

       I'm in the 7%

Remember that I will always share
       my spoon with you .

Thanks so much for the folded napkin story. I have a situation that maybe you
can help me with. I have a friend that needs support who suffers with severe
pain due to three fractures in one leg. She needs some place she can
physicallly go to because right now she does not have access to a computer.
She is in the process of getting one however. My friend's name is Bonnie and
she is really desperate to find a support. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
If there is a place you could recommend that would be great. I am making this
request on her bahalf.

The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over

   the grave clothes.

The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin

Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene
came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away

and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there , but he
didn't go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside.
He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the
cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying to the side. Is
that important? Absolutely! Is it really significant?
Yes! In order to understand the significance of the folded
napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew
   tradition of that day.
The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and
every Jewish boy knew this tradition. When the servant set the dinner table
for the master, he made sure that it was exactly
the way the master wanted it. The table was furnished perfectly
and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had
finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table until the
   master was finished.
Now if the master was done eating, he would rise from the table wipe his
fingers and mouth with that napkin and toss it on to
the table. The servant would then know to clear the table. For
in those days, the wadded napkin meant, 'I'm done.' But if the master got up
from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid
it beside his plate, the servant knew that the folded napkin
   meant, 'I'm not finished yet.'

The folded napkin meant, 'I'm coming back!'

IF YOU BELIEVE HE IS COMING BACK - PASS IT ON, I DID!

        already checked this on snopes

   2. Urban Legends Reference Pages: Barack Obama and the National Anthem

We checked this out on 'snopes.com'. It is factual. Check for yourself.

Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegience nor

will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands

over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.

   Who is Barack Obama?

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born
in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM
from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white Athiest from
   Wichita, Kansas.

Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two
years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His

mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia.
When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama
attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a
   Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is
quick to point out that, 'He was once a Muslim, but that he also
   attended Catholic school.'

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that

that he is not a radical.

Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this
influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned
to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct
   influence over his son's education.

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham,
introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school
   in Jakarta.

Wahabism is the RADICAL ISLAMIC teaching that is followed by the Muslim
terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since
it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major
public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined
the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim
background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he
DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.

Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegience nor

will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands

over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential
   candidacy.

The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside
out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the
President of the United States, one of their own!!!!

Please forward to everyone you know. Would you want this man leading
   our country?...... NOT ME!!!
