The Hammond Area Homeschool Affiliation (HAHA!) is a community of homeschooling families in Hammond, Louisiana and the surrounding area whose main desire is to have contact with other homeschoolers in a friendly, relaxed setting.

Diversity is appreciated! We welcome all races, ethnicities, religions, learning styles, educational philosophies, abilities and disabilities. We ask that rules of consideration, respect, and compassion be honored by all our members; we are our children’s example.

The direction of the Hammond Area Homeschool Affiliation is determined by the active participation of our members. We offer each other support, share resources and information, and get together for park days, field trips, workshops, and nights out--anything any of us would find fun to plan and set on the calendar. As a member, you should offer opportunities according to the needs of your family.

For the safety of our families, we do require each potential member to fill out a membership application which is automatically sent via email. Admission will put you on our email list, the heart of our communication. Our moderators are volunteers that approve the email member list. Please keep your emails ‘rated G’ as many children have access to the home computer—email is open to all members.

The key to a real connection is our weekly park day. Come to the park!
