This site is for people interested in keeping the neighborhood / family / residential environment that exists in the area of Highland St. bounded by Suburban Ave and Park Ave, and back towards Institute Rd and beyond.

This site contains some of the early activity within the group that was suitable for public distribution. The recent activity of the group is of a more sensitive nature and is located in another, private, yahoo group. If you are interested, and want to help, let us know.

One of the few areas of this site actively maintained is the Links section, which contains references to the T&G, Worcester Mag, and Boston Globe articles.

The main goal of this site is to organize and distribute information in the most efficient manner possible. Most of the residents affected by the proposed CHL site were blindsided by this, and we need to act quickly to understand the issues and voice our concerns to local political leaders, state funding sources, the UMASS Medical board, and other influential resources.

It is the expectation of this group that information will be posted in a professional and non-discriminatory manner. There may also be local politicians or media invited to participate.
