Greetings to all, I am new to Ham Radio Deluxe and the group.
I have used the program for a few weeks now and all worked great.
Some how today when I was in MS Explorer looking at files in the
Ham Radio Deluxe fold I must has messed some thin up.
When I open the program the connect box shows fine.
After clicking connect the program appears to open and shows
up in the tool bar but not on the screen, I am sure it is running.
It just does not appear on the screen any where.
When I right click on the tool bar icon and select restore nothing
happens, nothing for minimize and maximize from icon either.
Tried uninstall and reinstall, still nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thank you !

Bill:
You might try the following:
- right click on the shortcut icon for the program
- left click on properties
- under the "shortcut" tab, change the "Run" parameter to
"maximized" or "normal" (if it's set to one, change it to the other)
This has often solved the problem for me...

Hi,
Setting VFO-B is not easy but I will look at this later in 2005 once the
commercial work is over. The problem is one of CAT design in the FT-817 - I
can read VFO-B but setting it is another matter.

I have just downloaded the software HRD but I have a problem with it.
I can't connect with my Kenwood TS-2000X.
On the startup of HRD you have to chose your type of transmitter and
wich port you're using. Well I'm using the COM-port but I still get
a message that he couldn't connect!
Could somebody help me with this?

Simon,
When you work on the VFO-B item for the FT-817, please also work on it
for the FT-100 if you could.
Thanks.

I need help figuring out a problem with the audio grabber. The
grabber appears to be recording, but I can't get the files to play
back. There is no sound.
Do I need to connect the speaker out put of the FT897D to the sound
card to get the Grabber to work???
Thanks

I have been a ham for 22 years, although I was off the air for ten
years. I have been back on the long enough to want to start qsling
again.
I am using the Ham Radio Deluxe software. I am have aboout 250 QSOs
that I need to qsl. I am about to order some qsl cards, but I need
to know what specific support program to interface with, as well, as
how to interface HRD to that software that can print envelopes, and
print the qsl labels to affix to my cards.
How do you manage the data to tell which QSOs have been sent and
recieved in HRD and the supporting software?
If I could use a label to print to qsl information, I could affix the
label to the qsl card. Further more I could design the card for a
particular label to be affixed.
Please help me work through this issue.
P.S. I wish this was in the HRD...Simon???

Hi Mike: The audio should be connected to the audio-in of your sound card.
The playback will come through your computer speakers as you no doubt have
your audio-out, which is labeled "speaker" on the sound card, connected to
your computer speakers. I don't know of any way that you can get a recorded
signal back to the radio's speaker. Hope this helps. Later. theboyd

Hi,
I have a Pro, and use it with my 756 PRO II and several other programs...
From my stand point I can not recommend it highly enough. The setup and
wring is somewhat complicated, but if you follow the Instruction manual it
will work first time. Mine did. The manual is as close to perfect for
setup instructions as can be made. I am considering purchasing another Rig
blaster for a portable setup. If I had to do it again, I would buy the Pro
again for the fixed setup.
Thanks,
Dave
