Welcome to the Hazleton Area Homeschooler's talk list. This is designed to facilitate communication between members.

The purpose of HAH is to nurture a Christian home education support system based upon the Bible and to provide encouragement and support to Christian families who file under the PA Act 169 of 1988 Home Education Law.

HAH was established in the belief that God, the Father, Maker of Heaven and Earth has always existed and will always exist in three persons of the trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testament, is the final authority for faith and life, infallible and God-breathed.

We believe in the diety of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection and His imminent return in power and glory.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and therefore is lost, but through faith in Jesus Christ alone he may receive salvation, a free gift of God.

We believe in the spiritual unity of belivers through our common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that individual doctrinal differences, which may exist, should not hinder the unity of Christian home educators.

This group functions and progresses with the purpose of providing homeschooling families with support, interaction, information and education, expression of individual talents and abilities, and friendships.
