Welcome to the Yahoo Group and email list for Shining Valley Druidic Study Group. We grew from a group of druidic pagans who began meeting together regularly in Autumn of 2007 for study, fellowship, and ritual. In May 2008, we became a protogrove of Ár nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship (ADF)and struggled in our attempt to grow into an official Grove. So far this has not occurred, but there is always hope!

Due to many technical difficulties and the need for leadership, we are currently inactive and no longer have protogrove status, but the good folks at ADF have assured us that there is nothing to prevent a new protogrove from being approved in the future if someone is willing to take up the job of Grove Organizer.

Our original vision is to provide a spiritual community in the Rochester, NY/Genesee Valley Region that offers nurturing fellowship, open ritual, and the opportunity to grow as pagans within a druidic context and to welcome pagans, seekers, and friends from all paths. Please feel free to use this mailing list to dream and discuss and see what develops!
