GU Women of Color, founded last Spring by alum Joylynn Holder, will meet
Monday (tonight) at 8 PM in WGR213 GUWOC is a community oriented
organization which focuses on strenghthening bonds between black
women of the African Diaspora that attend Georgetown University. This
organization functions on not only a social level but on various networking,
progressive, and support levels as well. GUWOC members program
several events including coffeehouses, parties, open and panel
discussions, and more. The organization will also branch into service
outlets this school year in the form of benefit walks, drives, and the like.
Interested Georgetown affiliates of all backgrounds, genders, and sexual
orientations are welcome to attend.
