The Center for International Media Education welcomes you to explore our website or visit us in person in Department of Communication at Georgia State University. You can see this website at www.cime@gsu.edu.
On the CIME site you can explore the diverse worlds we work in. There you will find a wealth of information on expanding media in the Middle East and North Africa and our emerging partnerships with universities in China.
We are the home of two serious academic journals, the Journal of Middle East Media and the Atlanta Review of Journalism History. Each year the Center hosts journalists, journalism educators and students from around the world, often appearing on our World Media Forum series in meaningful exchanges with the university students and faculty and the wider Atlanta community.
Our own staff includes graduate students from Asia, the Middle East, and South America. We have close ties with U.S. and international media organizations. We have been engaged in conducting media training workshops for journalists, educators and students in Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, the Palestinian Authority, Lebanon, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Armenia, and China.
This Yahoo! Groups site facilitates our ongoing worldwide conversations. It is also intended as a communication portal for our overseas workshops. Please use this site responsibly and respect the privacy and integrity of other participants' submissions.
