While I'd never suggest that _not_ running a virus scan or _not_
updating passwords is a good idea, I suspect your system has likely
_not_ been compromised. It's easy to forge "From:" headers, and that's
a common event in spam blasts. Spammers get addresses from somewhere
and then use them as From: addresses to make it more likely that others
will see and read their emails.
I don't know what spam protection GRP-FACL has, for example to verify
that the routing information on a message seems legitimate. (The
routing information is more likely uncompromised.) In any case, it's
likely a moot point, as GRP-FACL is likely on its last days.
