Green Footprints Action Works will construct a resource map for the Madison Valley neighborhood adjacent to the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle, Washington. We, the neighbors, will collect data on the flora, fauna and waterways of our neighborhood. We will work with Seattle Audubon and Seattle Urban Nature to construct resource maps of our neighborhood. From these maps, with the help of Peggy Gaynor and Buster Simpson, we'll develop a neighborhood action plan--an identification of opportunities in our neighborhood for restoration work and big tree planting, enhancement of pedestrian passageways, construction of natural drainage features and public art.
