The purpose of this group is to provide a network for people and groups who do Great Dane Rescue all over the United States and the world. From people who cannot take in rescue danes themselves but want to publicize about a dane in a shelter or owner turn-ins in order for another rescue person to help save, to groups with dozens or more rescued Great Danes in their care, this group is open to anyone wanting to help neglected, abandoned, and abused Great Danes.

This group will not permit puppy mills, brokers, or any sale of Great Danes, and anyone shown to be using this group to sell a Dane will be banned.

Occasional non-Dane related rescue posts, or posts about Danes that are not related to rescue, will be permitted. The post topic should begin NDR for Non-Dane Related or NRR for Non-Rescue Related.

I hope this will be a place to network with and educate Dane rescue individuals and groups worldwide. Transportation between rescues is also encouraged, where it would be in the best interests of the individual Dane.
