This is a group for all GRE and Graduate Studies aspirants who want to pursue either a Masters or a Ph.D. in the USA. Recently, due to the surge of interest in higher education in countries other than USA, our discussions do include Canada, Germany, New Zealand and so on. Given the current situation in Australia, we are warning all International students, especially of Indian origin to not apply to Australian schools till law and order is restored.

The primary objective of the group is to allay any fears you might have, and set you free from rumours, ignorance and any other wrong notions you might carry.

Myth Busters:

Myth 1: In the AWA essay, always write for the "con".

Fact: The AWA is scored based on multiple factors. Writing for the "con" is definitely not one of them.

Myth 2: You have to be from the IITs and such to get admits into high ranked schools

Fact: On gre-succcess, time and again we have shown that where you come from is not as important as how you fared there. Ask us for examples of folks who made it through hard and smart work!
