Though not in a tyled Lodge room, messages to this group should be written with the same sense of decorum as would be used in a Masonic Lodge. Harmony, courtesy, brotherly love and even caution should be exercised at all times.

In trying to determine the appropriateness of messages posted to the group, the moderator plays a similar role to the Master of Lodge. He must at all times maintain the proper decorum and never allow passions or emotions to go unchecked. In addition, it is his responsibility to make sure the subject matter is appropriate to this particular forum. If a message contains questionable content, the message is referred to the Grand Secretary. The moderator’s decisions are final, as are those of any moderator of a Yahoo group. Inflammatory remarks or criticisms, or messages of a commercial nature are not allowed.

The rights of the users of this forum are as limited as they would be in a Masonic Lodge, with the exception that discussions about particulars concerning the ritual or other modes of recognition are inappropriate here. Occasionally non-Masons are members of this group, and it is therefore doubly important that participants conduct themselves accordingly. It makes good sense to err on the side of caution.
