"Just as the gopis and Radharani in Vrajabhumi are feeling the pangs
of separation from Krsna, similarly, Krsna in Mathura or Dvaraka also
feels the pangs of separation from the gopis and Radha. Radharani is
Krsna-viraha-vidhura and Krsna is radha-viraha-vidhura. So that is
Jagannatha. He is crying, 'Radhe! Radhe! Radhe! Gopi! Gopi! Gopi!'
Therefore He manifests that form, mahabhava-prakasa; dilated eyes,
His hands and legs are shrunken into His body like a tortoise. That
is vipralambha-bhava, mahabhava.
"And because Gaura is in radha-bhava, He is Krsna-viraha-vidhura.
Both are viraha-vidhura, forms of the Lord feeling the pangs of
separation. Therefore Jagannatha and Caitanya Mahaprabhu stayed
together in Jagannatha Puri Dhama, vipralambha-ksetra."
