This is a group for babywearing mamas in the Southern San Francisco Bay Area to get together and hike the beautiful trails and beaches in our area with our children.

Our goals:

• Get out of the house, relieve stress, isolation and boredom
• Enjoy the incredible natural beauty of where we live
• Socialize with like-minded mamas
• Stay healthy and fit, build muscle strength and endurance
• Discover new and beautiful locations
• Share all the above with our children
• Experience a fabulous day out at little or no cost (some parks charge $5.00 entrance fees)

So grab your kids, get out of your house, and get some fresh air and exercise with people who can relate to your sleep-deprivation and desperate need for adult conversation! ;-)

Most of us have baby or toddler carriers, but jogging or other rugged off-road strollers are fine for many places we visit.

If you need a baby or toddler carrier, you can visit my online store, The Portable Baby, or ask me to bring one along for you. You're welcome to demo a carrier with your baby on a hike.

We meet 1-3 times a week during the warm weather months, and less often in wintertime. We hike in various locations around the Peninsula and South Bay area, ranging from Pacifica to Morgan Hill and out to the beaches of the San Mateo Coast. Hikes range from short, easy walks to 4-5 mile workouts. You'll have plenty of advance info, so you'll know what to expect from a hike.
