"Global nomads" basically describes people who lived overseas as minors; often as young people with diplomatic, missionary, business, academic, or military parents. We're sometimes known as "overseas brats," expats," or "third culture kids/TCKs," but Gnomads addresses the people and their experiences, and is not preoccupied withe typing, labels, profiles, or similar jargon.)

Gmomads is an independent discussion group for communication and community-building among the global nomadic people in the US national capital area, offering news and knowledge of interest. We wecome you to discuss your experience, your insights, and your interests with other nomadic people.
