Dear Global Villagers!
I'm Uwe Christian Plachetka (Vienna, Austria) now at the end of my expedition to check the feasibility of using Global Villages for protection of biodiversity. The project is "Oil Reduced Agriculture" to continue the works of Nicolai Ivanovich Vavilov, the pioneer of biodiversity.
So I'll past my report from the German Dorfwiki:
==The INCMAS – code: In the Search of the Inca’s Holy Grail==
This is a research report of my second expedition to Peru in the course of the project “Oil Reduced Agriculture” run by the Institute of Risk Research and
the Institute for Ecologic Farming (as it is said in Perú) Bioforschung Austria and others adopted by the Austrian Academy of Science as part of the horizontal program: “Global Ecologic Change and Food Systems”.
Work Package N°3 says: Studying the reagibility of Food Systems to Climatic and Ecologic Change.
So we did this year. The scenario study was the so-called intermedio tardio (regional departamental) stage of the autochthonous phase of socio-economical development in the Andes and there we discovered how the prototypes of the Global Integrated Village Environment, the Global Villages emerged.
Special thanks to Prof. John Earls and Prof. Liliana Himelda Muñoz Villar.
==Peruvian prospectus==
Our Partner in Lima (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú), Prof. John Earls has recently published a book on the Andean agriculture in the age of collapsing globalization which includes and amplifies his contributions to our intermediate report of the 2005-campaign (presented at the IRICs - Conference in Vienna). Due to the fact that the world is a finite system he proposed that the globalization will lead to a catastrophy (given the law of entropy). In addition to there is still the puzzle how and why the Incas had a highly productive agriculture. The know-how of doing so is the “INCMAS” – Code, the
acronym means: Integrated micro-climatic management systems - for the mobilization of local, renewable ressources. But the source code for the data proceeding of this management is still not clear.
==Hypothesis==
The Incas employed the principles of the Global Villages as
described by Franz Nahrada in his article on global subsistence (unfortunately available in German only). The feasibility of this concept is now confirmed by means of theoretical physics (physical entropy).
==Expedition to Samaipata==
Backtrekking the era between the collapse
of the Tiwanaku and Wari Empire and the beginnings of the Inca – Empire means to visit the archaeological sites of Piquillacta (Wari), Tiahuanacu (Tiwanaku), Samaipata (regional departamental), Tipón (at the brink of the Empire) and other archaeological aspects including stake-holder interviews with the local experts having participated at the recent archaeological campaigns. Since the Incas had no thermometers we measured the architectonical orientation according to the Sun’s pathes (viajes del sol as the peasants still say) to see how Inca installations matched the patterns of Global Villages concerning the mobilization of local resources by a directional compass.
== Conclusions so far==
As a key to decipher the source-code of the Inca technology has already presented by Plachetka’s Master-thesis, a hearing had taken place before CONCYTEC (Comisión Naciónal de Ciencias y Technologia) to check the results of the Samaipata-expedition with the Peruvian Cientific Community. It is now acknowledged that the Incas had employed the Global-Village system due to a mayor climatic change which
may have been caused by Wari deforestation. Furthermore John Earl’s proposed cybernetic agriculture is confirmed by the Artificial Intelligence – approach. To understand this approach the basics of computation must be clear – and this is Kurt Gödel’s strategy to prove his incompleteness theorem. (See Hofstadter: Gödel-Escher-Bach). A publication in Spanish is now prepared. The same strategy had been applied to link the quechua drama Ollantay to acknowledged Inca history because this is the key to the INCMAS – code.
