Global Villages, is a forum moderated by Franz Nahrada, Investigatorius of the Minciu Sodas laboratory connecting more than 200 people worldwide who care about the future of villages and think that part of the answer lies in the benefits of networking.

Global Villages are small and sustainable settlements embedded in their cultural landscapes and in informational / telematic networks of support. The working together of these two factors creates astonishing and endless possibilities to improve our living condition and to shape new living spaces embedded in cooperation with nature. The GIVE (Globally Integrated Village Environment) Research Lab in Vienna explores these possibilities and discusses them in this yahoogroup.
