DISCLAIMER: Our troupe name has nothing to do with Nazis. We do not sanction or promote racist behavior in any way. One of our group members explained it best: "Blitzkrieg" is simply the German word for highly mobile, highly-flexible warfare based on the use of large numbers of light tanks supported by air forces and light infantry. As a concept of warfare, the military philosophy that came to be known in 1940 as Blitzkrieg was not developed solely by the Germans. During the 1920s, several British military hilosophers and tacticians expanded upon early Lightning War stategies used on the Western Front during WWI. During WWII, the same concepts were implemented by the French and Americans, and the Israeli armed services have also used the tactics of Blitzkrieg to great effect. Operation Desert Storm is also a classic study in Blitzkrieg.
