Replacements site is huge. I use them as a ID guide mostly. I have
foound that in differnet parts of the states, price have a wide
range. I sell alot of Pyrex & Fire King and send it west. I'm in
Ohio, near Zanesville, where alot of pottery factories was. And West
by god VA. isn't far for me to drive to yard sale. We go to Fla. on
vacation in March and I can't touch any Pyrex down there at flea
markets. Way high priced. Both Robbins Nest & Replacements are on
line and off line stores. When selling on Ebay I tend to start my
auctions out based on what I have in an item.

as a gift when i left presidency of that group...it was a plate and it had
astrological symbols on it...I;m afraid thro the years i t has gotten dusty and
now i need to wash it..but it doesnt come out to nice...do you have any
tricks..it doesnt have a real shiny coating on it....

Hi this is Sharon from Texas. I collect depression glass, vintage pyrex and
I have always loved Wedgewood(the blue with raised white on it) so I think I
am going to start collecting that. I am not an expert on any but buy what
I like and have books on all but the wedgewood. I have had a hard time
finding anything in my city so I turned to ebay. I have bought a few things
and have been burned twice so I dont think I am going stay there well that

Yes dinnerware can be discussed here. Glass, china and everything
like that. I collect bowls & casseroles, old shot glasses, old
suburbans(5), and soda bottles( mainly Pepsi & Dew). I'm working on
putting a list of good books in file. My library knows me by voice on
the phone, I'm there so much. Laura, if you check out the links
folder, I have some very good aites in there for looking at china.
Replacements is great place to look around. ALso check out my ebay
auctions, I have a ton of different stuff on there now. You may see
something that sparks your interest, not so much to buy from me, but
to start to collect.

I started collecting bowls when my granny gave me the colored Pyrex 4
piece set she had for years. Now I have almost 2000 bowls &
casseroles! Only 200 old shot glasses. I sell alot of Pyrex & Fire
King. Stuff I don't keep. Over the years I have paid for everything I
have in my collections. My daughter, who's 23, laughs at my "junk". I
tell her someday she'll laugh all the way to the bank after a big
auction after I go. Luckly my son knows the value of collectibles and
he has a nice collection of "junk" started. I don't handle much
Wedgewood, but I do Pyrex. Don't let a couple bad apples scare you
from ebay. The thing is to read feedback and ask questions to seller
before you bid on stuff. Look to Yahoo auctions for buying.

A warm welcome to our newest members. The rules are very simple here.
No porn allowed. If you sell on ebay or other auctions, please post
your ID in the links folder for that. I'll change the front pic once
in a while, so if you have a pic of your fav piece of glass add it to
photos in the yahoo photos folder and let me know. If you are looking
for a piece to add to your collection, let us know what it is. Please
look around and have fun. Let's make some new friends here. To any
who has joined recently, please tell us what you collect.
Karen
We're getting a few new members. Those of you who havnt' told about
your collections, please do. If you're looking for a certain item,
let us know, maybe it is to be found here. If you sell on Ebay,
please post your ID in the links. Again, welcome all.
Karen
I've added Wendy's collection on the front page. If any one has
questions about it. Please post them for Wendy. If you'd like a pic
on the front page, please add it to the photo's folder.
Karen
In mid Ohio the yard sales are pretty much done. Maybe next weekend a
stray or 2. I just won more Taylor Smith Taylor Oasis Green shades of
grandaur. Like I really need more. ;-) But I have a compete ( I
think) collection of the stuff now. I have over 300 shot glasses,
about 2 dozen old trucks, and way too casseroles and bowls. I've been
a busy breaver on eBay last couple days. What is anyone looking for
to add to their collections? Maybe other members have or know where
to find. Remember to check out the photos, links and files once in a
while.

I will second that. Although it is raining so hard here the last couple of days,
we had to pump water out of the pond to keep the fish in the pond and not in the
front yard. <:^))

approx. 1.25" across the base, 4" across widest portion, 1.75" across
the opening and 3.5" tall.

Will I started the Collection File by adding my set of Victory
Serving Bowls By Diamond Glass Ware, Indiana, PA from 1929-1932.
Hope you enjoy and that it helps someone else identify theirs as
these were a bugger to track down.

I will take a closer look around the board as soon as I get caught up on my
email. It has been goofy for a couple of days and now it is flooding in.
Washington is getting cold fast. We are making our last trip over the pass to
Yakima for this year in a few days and won't go again till the pass clears up a
bit from the winter mess.
No more short, into sweat pants and webs are beginning to grow on the feet. We
have had enough rain that the geese and ducks are already swimming in the back
pond where they stay for the winter.

Welcome Wendy, and a warm welcome to our newest member also. Ok I may
sound dumb for this one, but what is "DH"? Dear Hubby? ;-) My hubby
and I collect old mid 60's suburbans. We have 5 of them now. My kids
are 23 & 22, still living at our farm but hey we come and go as we
please now. On my yahoo profile I have pics of our '57 Bel Air and
one of the suburbans. Hence my ID-suburan65. The last 2 years for my
BD, hubby has bought me parts for 2 of the burbs. I was tickled pink.
I have a few decanters with matching shots. Over 300 shot glasses
now, close to 2000 bowls and casseroles, almost 2 dozen old car &
trucks! If you have a fav pic of your fav piece of glass, let me
know. I'll change the front page pic every so often to a members
piece of glassware. Please look around the photos, links and files
section. Feel free to add "Glass Only" info to any of the folders I
have started. Nice to meet ya'll. Is Washington state cold yet?
