Hello -
I am new to the group. I have set up a photo album - debmonkey. Can
anyone help me identify the maker, pattern, date of the pieces in the
photo's?

I believe the melon shaped vase is Fenton, but cannot find it in any
of the Walk or Measell books.

The white milk basket with amber or gold crest is not a Fenton.
Fenton made a similar pattern - Gold Crest -- but never a handle like
this. John Walk has also confirmed this.

I would appreciate any help!!

First welcome to our little group. Next, the green basket, you may
want to look more at Westmoreland. The gold trimmed one, I have no
idea. It has a Fenton look to me. I don't know who else made baskets
like that other then Fenton. The amber, I have a bowl in like pattern
and can't find anything out. Look in links for a couple good sites.

Welcome to our little group. All I found on earthlite was massage
tables. I think I have Replacements link added here. Check more
there. Unless your glass had massage oil or something in it.
If you can post a picture of your glass in photos area, we need a new
picture for front page.
I've been busy on my web store lately. Anyone any feedback on it,
please? I'm still trying to add items, but working alone on that and
ebay, I just don't have enough time in the day. ;~)

Hello
My name's TIffany - from Austin, TX. I collect Pyrex - mainly
dinnerware and nesting bowl sets that catch my fancy. All started
when I inherited my grandmother's Friendship set.

I recently purchased a dinnerware set off eBay...in burgundy. It
has the typical band of color around the outside, but the inside of
the band is scalloped. All of the plates/bowls have mold numbers,
and the cups are marked CORNING dinnerware. The set also came with
a 2 qt tab handled casserole and a pie pan [marked PYREX] in the
same deep burgundy/maroon color. I suspect this set came out after
the flamingo/dove/lime/turquoise series since the cereal-size bowls
have no edging....the color band is around the top of the bowl which
is flat all the way around.

If anyone can tell me the name/date of this pattern, I'd be
extremely grateful.

Here's one of the auction link for reference:

Welcome to our little group Tiffany. I also collect bowls & casserole
dishes. Way too many. ;~) Look under the "Links" part to the left. I
have listed a link for one of the best Pyrex sites I have found.
You'll be able to find everything there. A hint on the casseroles
with lids, lids are numbered to match the number on dish.
I'll take a peek at the link you added.
I've been auctioning lately. Have a peek at my auctions. If any one
else sells on ebay, please add your ID under links, ebay ID folder.

Hi all. Does any one know anything about Royal Haeger? Over the
weekend I picked up a lovely marked Royal Haeger tidbit 2 tier tray.
It's whitish gray , leaf design. Numbered 849-h & 850-h. I think it's
a H, maybe a k. I can't find anything out about it. I want to list it
but not before I know more about it.
Tiffany, did you look in the links for the Pyrex pages listed there?

Yes, I was familiar with the Pyrex link, thanks :)
Royal Haegar has been around for a while. If memory serves, it is still
produced today under just the Haegar name, or if it's not, more recent pieces
were. I have several pieces in a specific pattern... "Gold Tweed." It was an
obsession a few years ago, and the pieces I bought are still hanging around
somewhere :) RH is a fairly common pottery from the research I did back then.

Hi, I'm Dea.
I hope this group is happy to welcome a pilgrim because that's me!
I am very new to glass collecting but am hopelessly addicted.
Family members have given me pieces through out the years so I have
some nice things. Just don't know what they are.
I'll be asking a lot of questions. My typing and spelling are not
so hot, please excuse.
I have a few pieces of milk glass hobnail with FENTON inside a
circle on the bottom and was told that this is the post 1973 mark.
Is this correct? How does one identify unmarked Fenton? I have 3
pieces that look like they are but no marks. These are hobnail also
but are clear toward the bottom and turn very light blue at the
top. When I get a camera will send pic. Thanks.

Hi Dea,
Welcome to our little group. I was trying to find the name of the
Fenton books I get from my library for you. Nose around your library
for price guides. Here's a link to Schiffer books. They print alot of
glass & everything books. You can order book from your library.

Replacements, LTD is good also for IDing. The link is posted here in

Hi Dea,

Another good place to order books is L w Books. If you buy six may be
mixed titles, you get the wholesale price.

http://www.lwbooks.com/

If you are only interested in Fenton milkglass, there is a book "The
Big Book of Fenton Milk glass 1940-1985" by John Walk that might be of
interest. It is a Schiffer Book.

I picked up a 3 piece Pyrex measuring set today. There are three
clear glass nesting bowls that are marked 1 cup #20, 3 cup # 10,
and an 8 cup # 14. These are unusual looking. They are clear glass
with a tap and slight pour spout.

Would anyone here know how old they are and exactly what they are?
Or where I could get some information on them?

I have been looking allover Ebay and the internet trying to find
information on them with no results.

Thank you very much,
Tricia S.

Thank you very much
