Welcome glass collectors, sellers, authors and researchers, from novice to expert! We collect and catalog member glass images and descriptions in a database currently for members only but the database may eventually be available to the public at large for a small fee. This is one of the best places to identify your glassware. We have experts ranging many eras and companies and our members are very friendly, helpful, driven and passionate about cataloging and identifying glass but you'll need to share your glass images with the database. The database is by country, company and pattern with fantastic search features using distinguishing characteristics--about 10,000 so far. If you would like to become involved in this project, just join this group, but you'll need to identify yourself and your web presence since we do not accept anonymous membership. A few things are not tolerated: inappropriate behaviors, one-up-ing, be-littling, final say because of status, and favoritism. No question is too simple or complicated. None of us will ever know everything about glass, considering the magnitude of the topic, we will all forever be students. Though we welcome collectors and sellers alike, our sole purpose is not to provide a gateway for sellers to promote their wares. We have set up a special day for this instead, Sundays. Sellers are welcome to publish to the group their glass for sale and provide links to their sites for purchase. Feel free to dive right in, peruse our database, add to it, and ask questions.
