This club is dedicated to those who blazed new trails in the American Wilderness long before any Flatlander soiled it's beauty with their stinkin' feet!

We shall discuss the Buckskinners, their way of life, traps and truck that came with bein' a Mountainman, clothing, weaponry, and of course the art and films about them.

Let's not forget the reenactors now neither!

NOTE: Yahoo has shown interest in charging folks for their email services. Like so much per email, sending and recieving, for "quality assurance". Yeah, right!
I for one well not pay them a single penny. Email is just not worth it.
As a result, we will see many folks leave in droves and these groups will start disapearing fast.
A friend who runs three groups has already relocated them to a new site that doesn't charge. He reccomends that I do the same.
I'll be keeping this in mind as I watch what happens.
