I confess I stopped voting months ago. I thought someone (Kaja?) had said that
there wasn't enough time to update that every day.
However, I do feel a little bad about how I used to scoff at some of the other
comics regularly in the top ten. Even though Girl Genius is clearly done by pros
(as opposed to others that seem more like amateurs-going-pro) some on the list
are worth checking out.
I really admire the lush, painted look of Phoenix Requiem (and her other comic,
Dreamless). Dreamland Chronicles is just incredibly innocent and very sincere
storytelling for kids. Earthsong is also not bad. Oh, and I just recently read
Two Kinds. I think it's done by someone in high school? For that age, the story
is actually quite good. It made me "aww!" more than once.
