Giraffechat is an unmoderated forum serving to deepen participants'
understanding in nonviolent (compassionate) communication as taught by
Marshall Rosenberg. Its purpose is to create an online community of both
new and seasoned giraffes in the spirit of peer support, exploration, and
celebration. Giraffechat is a place to:
*ask for and receive empathy
*practice using giraffe ears
*ask questions about the practical applications of NVC for both internal and
external communications
*ask for guidance in solving problems
*dialogue about the underlying philosophy and spirit of NVC
*contemplate how NVC is woven with other practices in your life
*celebrate your successes, mourn your regrets

Giraffechat is not a place to:
*Make lengthy announcements
*Talk perfect giraffe. We hope to hold a place for jackal voices to have
their say and be heard with giraffe ears.
