Welcome! The German Families of Louisville club is a forum for researchers and descendants of Louisville's German families to share information and to celebrate our heritage. The German immigrants in Louisville became a closely knit community. Many of us today are descendants of more than one German family group in Louisville. Our family records often provide information about other German families, related only by friendship or a sense of community to our own. By sharing this information, we all may gain a deeper appreciation for our rich cultural heritage and for the contribution our ancestors made to our world today.
