Has any body run accross a Delphia MOORE who md William KELLY in edgecome co
on 14 july 1766.  they had a granddaughter, Delphia Elizabeth Kelly  who
married who married George Wiley KEEL on 6-30-1830 in edgecombe co.  I do
not know any more would love to know more.

I also use outlook express I had trouble once, and went to Mailstart.Com and just deleated my problem. the rest of the messages came in great. It is nice to know about mailstart because you can reach it from any computer and read your messages. so if youare out of town, if you can get to a puter you can getto your messages.

5.  Ruth JONES died after 1745.  She was born in N.C..  she is mentioned in
the wil of her father 1742 beaufort co nc  William BRILEY Sr and Ruth JONES
had the following children:

  2 i. Solomon BRILEY.
   ii. Joseph BRILEY SR was born between 1740 and 1750 in Beaufort Co., N.C..
listed in the 1762-1763-1764 pitt co nc tax lists
   iii. Richard BRILEY was born between 1740 and 1750 in Beaufort Co., NC.
listed on pitt co 1762-1763 tax list
   iv. William BRILEY was born about 1740 in Beaufort Co., N.C..  He died
before 1800 in Pitt Co. N.C..  He was buried in Pitt  County N. Carolina.
Notes for William Brierly/Bryerly/ Briley, Jr.:
    listed on 1763 1764 Pitt Co. Tax Lists   not in 1800 census

    I give his birthdate here as 1740  to 1750  because  the information from
the different sources lead to many questions as to his mothers name.

    Another source as wife as BETHIA   - was he married twice



6.  John BARBER signed a will on 4 Sep 1814.  probate 2-2-1821  mentions
children  He was born in N Carolina.  He was married to Manoah.

7.  Manoah.  John BARBER and Manoah had the following children:

   ii. Solomon BARBER was born in NC.
   iii. John BARBER was born in NC.

8.  John BRILEY was born about 1695 in Bristol Parish, VA.  Notes for John
Brierly/Briley:

The children of John and Rebecca Brierly were  found in the Parish Lines
Diocese of Southern VA - Charlby Charles Francis Cock, Chancellor, diocese
of southwestern VA  1919-1961.  pages 278-283.

Bristol Parish was formed by an Act of the General Assembly of March 1643.
It was in Charles City County 1643-1701 and Prince George County 1703 until
present.  A small portion of it lies in Dinwiddie Co.

Search program on-line now.  Though it is currently in the beta testing
phase, you can still find lots and lots of information from the International
Genealogical Index, the Ancestry File, etc.  The full site should be up and
running sometime in June.  Until then, go and search around.  I have already
found lots of new relatives!

All of these children were born in Greenville. If any of this fits in,
  I have more information on the spouses and their children. Part of
these Jacksons are buried in Cherry Hill Cemetery. Annie Nelson
Jackson (Scott) is my grandmother and is buried in Greenwood cemetery.


We still have (in the family) the funeral books from Noah W Jackson
and Ruby Hill Boyd. Both contain brief stories of their lives,
pictures and some of the ribbons and dead flowers from cemetery.The
book on Noah has a picture of him in his Nights of Columbus uniform,
complete with sword (which my dad has now).

We also have a book published in 1866 on Stonewall Jackson, with a
hand written inscription "to my mother" that has been handed down
through the Jackson side of the family. Don't know if Stonewall was
somehow related or not.

Let me know if any of these Jacksons fit in.

My information indicates Mathias TISON married Mary F POTTS.
George HILL was first white man to settle on southside of Pamlico River,
Bath Co in British Colony of Carolina.  His will of 17 Apr 1722 names his
family.  Mary F POTTS Tison Hill was his second wife whom he married in
1710 but not the mother of his 4 children. She was widow of Mathias TISON
who was son of John & Susannika TISON.
