To our knowledge we are the only such centre in
the west of Romania
Mission of the Centre is to make the feminist
literature accessible to the Romanian book market, as the dearth of
feminist literature on an
otherwise quite sophisticated book market is
stunning. We wish to give currency to the feminist terminology and
also to promote a decent
academic discourse in the field. Our main aim
is, of course, that of introducing Women's Studies as a discipline in
its own right in the
academic curriculum. We are open to new
membership, so far we have about 50 committed and active members and
we also have a
coordinating committee
Activities include symposia, one-day
conferences, seminars on gender issues, round tables, translation of
books (we are currently
translating six titles from the list of titles
suggested by OSI New York and Global Women's Network). We intend to
produce a newsletter and
to organize a big regional conference in the
near future
Teaching There is one elective course

Draga Fidelie Kalambayi,
transmitem atasat

relatii+in urma acordurilor sau parteneratiului pe semnat intre tariloe
noastr.... si dorim sa folosim experienta dumneavoastra in materie!!
Cl putin eu asa fac.
Poate te mai ajuta si alti colegi.
Scuza scrisul dar sunt in viteza!!

introduca studii de gen in facultati.
multe capete judeca mai bine decat unul singur
(teoretic :)) ).
Daca
are si altcineva informatii, sunt pe faza.
Multumesc,
Mihai

Crossposted from aWID list New on-line course: "Gender and Conflict Transformation" (in English) / The Network University, Amsterdam, The Netherlands / First Course begins: 17 July 2003 / First application deadline: 1 June 2003 / For more information, please see: http://www.netuni.nl/intro_courses/index_gender_conf.html or contact: tcc@... / For scholarship information, please email: ystam@...
War is a gendered activity. In many violent conflict situations security is considered a men's affair and is exclusively defined in military terms. Human security, based on universal human needs, is however essential and often underrated as a factor contributing to lasting peace. Given the rapid proliferation of violence, terrorism and conflict during the last decade, women's different skills, perspectives and leadership styles can prove extremely useful to ensure human security, by contributing to changing perceptions, building relationships and developing common understandings and visions that benefit families, communities and nations worldwide. This four- week online course shows what a gender-sensitive approach to conflict transformation looks like and how it can be implemented in organization's strategies.
Next course dates are 17 July - 21 August 2003; 15 September - 12 October 2003, 10 November - 7 December 2003.
A number of scholarships are available from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Netherlands, to candidates fulfilling the following criteria: -Be active in a conflict or post-conflict area and be involved in: conflict prevention, resolution, reconstruction, peace-building; -Be affiliated to an organization; -Have a good command of the English language; -Be able to spend at least 5 hours per week on course work; -Have access to internet and basic computer skills; -Write a motivation essay (see application form); -Must come from a DAC country

Theodora,
multe subiecte o data.
Nu stiu daca in plen sau la un moment dat nu are
merita sa discutam despre date si titluri existente in
romana deja (organizatii care fac cercetari in
domeniu, edituri, titluri traduse sau publicate, etc.)
In acest sens,
ROG PE ORICE MEMBRU AL E-GRUPULUI NOSTRU daca poate

Tin in primul rand sa va atrag atentia ca maine este aniversarea
forumului nostru de discutii: implineste 1 luna! Sper ca urmatoarele
sa fie mai productive si mai animate! :-)
In al doilea rand, as vrea sa va rog sa aruncati o privire pe
saptamana si sa va spuneti parerea in legatura cu formatul.
celor care participa, pentru a-l putea definitiva in asa fel incat sa
fie de folos tuturor. Cea mai importanta parte, discutiile din cadrul
panel-urilor, este deschisa la orice modificari si sugestii, in
functie de interesele voastre in domeniu.

Cercetarea are trei faze:
daca si atunci cand veti avea timpul si dispozitia necesare.

aud despre studiul Delphi.
intervievezi?
Pensiile
femeilor sunt mai mici 3. In zona rurala se tinde spre o feminizare a
Succes!
Toata cele bune,
Theo
PS Poate si alte si alti genderomaniste /i vor veni cu idei... :-)

Dragi colegi,
Ma bucur ca putem colabora si astept cu nerabdare sa ne cunoastem in
Bucuresti.
teme mari: ageing, gender roles si family and fertility.
A key success factor is linked with to objective through a "cause -
effect" relationship. It describes the "how" of the "what".
The “what” is the objective and the "how" is the key success
factor.
The key success factor is the element existing in the future desired
reality that confirms that the "dream" has been attained.
Exemplu de policy objective and key success factor:
Policy objective: To increase the number of women in top management
position
Key success factors: to enforce laws that guarantee an equal presence
of man and women in top management positions; to provide financial
incentives to those organizations which sustain women in their access
to top management.

Vreau sa va urez in primul rand un warm welcome in cadrul grupului si
o sedere placuta si indelungata. Ma bucur ca sunteti alaturi de noi
si sper din tot sufletul sa ne intalnim in numar cat mai mare in mai,
trimite spre finalul saptamanii si astept sugestiile voastre.
o faceti.
Toate cele bune
Theo

Merci mult,
Bafta
