We started this mailing list to update interested contributors to the first anthology of Malaysian Gay Short Stories (still in progress). To this end, we hope to represent alternative voices and stories in our happy and much cowed country. But contributors don’t necessarily have to be gay or Malaysian or even writers. The list now has everyone from jaded old queens to teenage bi-wannabe chicks to – drool! – straight guys. And now it's turned into a community of friends and fellow bitches.

Now, a little disclaimer… This is not a list for exchanging erotica. And neither is it a cruising park. That said, members join at their own free will and the moderators are not responsible for the actions of members. Also, please note that you will be asked to identify yourself and your reasons for joining to the moderator. You don't have to out yourself to the list, but the moderator would like to know who you are, that's all. Don't worry, he is very friendly. And sexy. Ahem.

Regarding the anthology, our deadline is still fluid. For now, you can interpret the title whichever way you like as long you can justify its place in this collection. Stories and poems can be submitted to the editors Pang (worldwithoutpangs@yahoo.com) or Jerome (jeromekugan@hotmail.com). We have very high standards, but are also willing to provide editorial guidance. If you want to send your stories to the list for feedback from your fellow writers, please feel free. We are a cosy little circle jerk here.
