Express yourself: creativity in all forms, poetry & prose, pictures & lifestyles.
A web page created by visitors to the Gatehouse cafe, a drop-in centre for anyone over 25 who needs to find some space:
sandwiches, home-baked cakes, newspapers and books and now laptop computers with access to the internet. And it's all free! [link:www.oxfordgatehouse.org]
We're in the Northgate Hall, St Michael Street, Oxford - very convenient if you've spent the day on the street.
This site was inspired by our involvement in the Sunday Times Oxford Literary Festival in March 2004. Out of that came a book, OXFORD: ONE CITY, MANY VOICES. You will find photographs and writings from the book here. Some of them from homeless people who participated in the project; some by more established authors.
But that's just the beginning. By stepping over the threshold you are taking part. Now find your way to our (Guestbook on www.oxfordgatehouse.org) to have your say.
And why not join our group conference by sending an email to gatehouse_gatehouse-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
