ganymede arts (formerly Actors' Theatre of Washington) is dedicated to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (glbt) experience.

Our mission is to provide high-quality, professional theatre and art (dance, musical performance, poetry readings and art shows) that fosters social and cultural awareness of and for the glbt community.

Under the artistic leadership of Jeffrey Johnson, ganymede arts continues the tradition of high-caliber productions that you have come to know. Such as: Boston Marriage, the all male Les Liaisons Dangereuses, The Owl and the Pussycat, Never the Sinner, Lilies, and The Rocky Horror Show.
