Description

The GA-AdvocatesNetwork list service is a yahoo group designed to set up a State wide network of special needs Advocates in GA to disseminate information to each other and to discuss advocacy matters. We welcome parents and grandparents, parent advocates, professional advocates, non-profit agency advocates, state department advocates, educators, and disability professionals.

Participants may post anything related to special needs advocacy and disability information, including but not limited to: disability organization newsletters and information, support group meetings, workshops, conferences, articles, research, advocacy efforts, letters to representatives, legal information, court judgements, newspaper articles, etc. We also invite National Advocates to join and share information that affect the lives of children and adults with disabilities.

This list is an open list, and parents may want to be careful about what they post in this forum. New members are initially screened. No SPAM allowed. The posts may be lengthy, so be sure to set your settings in Yahoo appropriately.

Together, let's all help bring positive change to special needs children, adults, and their families in GA!
