It is not at all weird for me: Hirt(e) means shepperd and in Southern German the ending " le " is anything small.....so Hirtle is a small Shepperd or shepperd...

The 10% mohair will give the felted item a halo. So the answer is Yes it will be fuzzy. And you can shave it using a disposible razor.... I buy cheap ones...
