The stills look great Mike. Looking forward to seeing this in the dome.

Subject: [fulldome] "Perfect Little Planet" from the Clark Planetarium
Hi everyone,
Even though our "Secret of the Cardboard Rocket" show continues to be
one of the most popular programs out there for families and schools, we
also get lots of questions like: "When are you going to make a new solar
system show for the same age group?" Our new show "Perfect Little
Planet" is the answer!
Imagine a family from another star system visiting our solar system to
find the perfect planet to vacation on. This show features a little bit
of everything - character animation, lively music (in a style similar to
"Cardboard Rocket"), great details and fun rides. Last night we held a
special preview for the media and VIP's and the response was
overwhelmingly positive. One of my favorite comments was from a father
who said his young son doesn't sit still for anything, but he was
totally mesmerized throughout the entire 35-minute program!
Not only is this the highest detail we've ever produced (true 4k
environments), but it's also our first feature show at 60 frames per
second. The motions were so smooth and clear that our audiences couldn't
stop talking about the improved "feel" of the show. Sharp and steady
motions that felt "real" instead of "movie-like" were common comments.
The show opens to our public this Friday, and after several weeks of
post-production based on multiple-source feedback, it will be available
for distribution (at both 30 and 60fps). In the meantime, please have a
look at our recently posted webpage:

There you can see a more thorough description, sample images and the
trailer. The show will also play at the Zeiss Fulldome Festival this May
(at 60fps!)...
