The Friends of Ruffin Canyon (FRC) are volunteers from the Serra Mesa/Mission Village area of San Diego.
Our Mission is to:
foster awareness, appreciation, and community involvement in protection of Ruffin Canyon's unique habitats,
inform the public about the various threats to natural habitats, endangered species and wildlife living there, and
provide for recreational access and nature-educational opportunities, where appropriate, that respect native habitats and wildlife values.
Ruffin Canyon is a tributary of the San Diego River, and part of Canyonlands Park.Click for Map.
