Dear List,

We are in the middle of the chained salon at this moment. It is
booming and buzzing.

We have set a new record:

at 17:15hr the salon was full. We had to send more then 100 people
away. (luckily we had café Hooglandt to offer some shelter, thank you
Arnoud!)

I must say: this is the least appreciated aspect of my job. Most of
the people understand however. For those who don't, I will list the
reasons again here:

1. Safety limit! (not only because of regulations, but also because
of my responsibility I do NOT want to have an unmanagable crowd in
the space.

2. Air to breathe and dance.

Our 20 years experience tells us that also March and April will be
popular salons. The easy going salons are Mayday, Orange Ball,
Sunsetsunrise salon and X-mas ball. (Just look at the web site for
more information)

I want to remind you that it is possible to register for Mayday and
the DJ workshop. For the International week you can register from
March 20th (22:00)

Ciao

Eric

PS: I am thinking of changing the end time of the chained salon to
04:00 from September. (We are getting older) Would you be VERY
disappointed?

Thank you, Toine, for mentioning that situation on the floor. For me it was not such a nice weekend - was it full moon, was it my own mood? (though, I didn't...
