This is the Official Group formulated By The Committee To Free The Scott Sisters. Please be advised that no other Yahoo group has been authorized by The Committee to Free The Scott Sisters. This is the Official Free The Scott Sisters Group. Thank you for joining us in our ethical struggle to bring the sisters home. Your suggestions, ideas and strategies are all welcome.

In 1994, the State of Mississippi sentenced two sisters, Jamie and Gladys Scott,to consecutive double life terms each for two counts of armed robbery they did not commit. The Scott sisters did not have prior criminal records, and from the beginning, they have vigorously maintained their innocence.(A) Their convictions rest entirely on a combination of contradictory, coerced, and potentially perjured testimony by the victims and two other people charged with the crime who were offered lighter sentences for their cooperation.

The Committee To Free The Scott Sisters is a grassroots based committee our objective is publicizing this case and working with the legalities of the case to bring freedom for the sisters.
