What does this mean for you?

The new site has a message maker capability that will allow you to post to the group easier and allows less room for error. This means that more posts to go through to the group without being rejected or edited.

What do you need to do now?

1 Go to http://my.freecycle.org and click on `sign up'

2 Fill in the boxes with your Username and Email Address (make
sure you use the same details that you currently use for the group).
Make sure you tick the terms of service box. Click the 'sign up' box.

3 The next screen will appear, telling you your account has been
created and to go check your email. Make sure you check the email address you specified when you joined.

4 You will receive a mail with your username and a temporary
PASSWD.

5 Go back to the Freecycle page and click `log in' on the top
right.

6 Fill in username and temporary passwrd and click log in

7 The first page you see will prompt you to change your temporary
passwrd to a new one. Click Save new passwrd.

8 Click `My Groups' Tab, type in St. Albert. Click on `Find Group'

9 Click on `Join this group'

10 Once you have joined the group you can post to the list - Go to
the 'My Freecycle' tab and everything you'll ever need is in
there :)

Any posts to the yahoogroups will be restricted and denied starting March 12, 2009 and you must post through my.freecycle.org
