As the old adage goes, one person's trash is another's treasure - so if you're thinking about throwing out that "junk" sitting in your garage, you've come to the right place! Whether it's an old TV, paper products, clothes, a lawnmower or that computer you just replaced - give it new life by listing it on FREECYCLE™.
I went to www.freecycle.org and all I got was a lousy t-shirt ... and a box of golf balls, a beach umbrella and a fish tank. So I gave away an upright piano, a box of books, a baby crib, and a big yellow rocking fish. Then I got a blender, a TV, and an Ecuadorian wool sweater and found someone who wanted my old washing machine and that bunch of wire hangers. So then I discovered that someone needed the leftover paint I had, and I thought, hey! maybe someone has the remote control for my TV – and they did! So then I got really excited about cleaning up the mess in my garage and gave away the old wheelbarrow, the canning jars, our old grill, and the kiddie pool our kids outgrew. And wow! I made new friends and began to feel like I belonged to a pretty wonderful community! Gee, I love my lousy t-shirt!
