We're about recycling useful items. Clean out your space. Find homes for things you no longer use. Keep stuff out of the landfill. Help others at the same time. Receive items you need.

Be a considerate group member: Your first post should be an offer.

Begin the Subject line of every message with an appropriate tag:

OFFERED: if you have something to give away followed by your location;

TAKEN: once the item has been given away. Taken posts are ONLY posted by the offerer.

WANTED: if you're looking for something (use this sparingly, specify what you need, NO SOB STORIES you must include your location;

RECEIVED: after you obtain an item you posted a wanted for.

The rest is simple common sense:
- Everything must be completely free (as in "free lunch"). However, you may offer to pay for postage or deliver a large bulky item for gas money only.
- Keep it all legal, tangible, appropriate for ALL ages including your profile and email address.
- No services, no politics, no spam, no trades/barter/money, no promotion of your business, no signature lines. Period.
- Reply to "Offered:" posts by sending an email directly to the offerer, not to the whole group.
- Never post "it's out on the porch or street, first one here gets it" - type OFFERs. Work with a single individual to arrange pickup of the item.
You can post your offer's picture in the group's "Photos" section. (Remember to delete it when it's taken).

Email settings may ONLY be set for individual emails, daily digest or special notices.
