To post:

• read the group FAQ first
• Every post's Subject: must begin with the word OFFERED, TAKEN, WANTED, or RECEIVED
• Every Subject: must end with a location (your Seattle neighborhood)
• In the spirit of Freecycle giving, make your first posting an OFFERED, not a WANTED.

• Initiating/closing your OFFERED:
  OFFERED: Sofabed (Ballard)
  TAKEN: Sofabed
  [Only the OFFERer posts a TAKEN!]

• Initiating/closing a WANTED:
  WANTED: Boxes (UW area)
  RECEIVED: Boxes
  [Please use WANTED sparingly and sensibly]

  
  The rest is common sense:

• Everything - offered or wanted - must be totally free, tangible, legal, and suitable for all ages.
• Absolutely no services and no trades/barter/money.
• Interested in an OFFER? Send private email to the offerer; don't "ReplyAll" to the whole group!
• Show up! Pickup your item ASAP or email/phone the offerer to cancel.
• No "it's out on the curb, first one here gets it" OFFERs!. Work directly with just one person at a time.
