Welcome to Freecycle (TM) Salem

The concept of Freecycle Salem is simple. You have something you no longer need and you wish to "recycle" it rather than throw it into the landfill. You can post items to give away, or make a request for wanted items, but the bottom line is that it has to be FREE! The format for posting an ad is as follows:
WANTED: Toaster
OFFER: Radio
SPOKEN FOR: Microwave Oven
TAKEN: Clothes
RECEIVED: Computer
Please adhere to the above mentioned format. Any ads submitted in other formats such as "Desperately needed:.....", "Needed really, really bad:.....", "I have a bunch of stuff", or ONLY saying "Wanted" or "Toaster", etc. will not be published.
When responding to an ad, please respond directly to the author of the original post, and not to the whole group.

This group offers the Freecycle service to all of us living in Salem, Oregon, and it's outlying communities. PLEASE START OFF BY OFFERING an item that is of no use to you any more, or that has been collecting dust for far too long. Someone may have use for it. Sorry, but trading is not allowed.
Please keep it FREE, LEGAL, and APPROPRIATE for ALL AGES.
And don't forget to tell your family, friends, and coworkers about our Freecycle community. Help to spread the word!
