Changing the world one gift at a time!

Our mission is to encourage members to pass along still-usable, tangible items rather than throw those items away. We work to alleviate pressure on our nation's landfills, cut back on wasteful consumerism and promote stewardship of our planet.

Items must be FREE, Legal, and Appropriate for all ages -- no adult only; no alcohol; no tobacco; no drugs of any kind, including all medicines, vitamins, creams, etc.; no firearms or other weapons. Items must be tangible. Offers of, or requests for, services, advice, tickets, gift cards, box tops, soup labels or coupons and coupon books aren't appropriate for the list. Guidelines will be emailed to new members.

We strongly recommend setting your preferences to No Email so you can read FreecyclePortland from the website.
