Greetings Freecycle Pet Moderators


This is the official forum for Freecycle Pet Moderators across The Freecycle Network who are pet moderators of their local groups. Here we discuss the resources, actions, procedures, direction and training of local Pet Mods to better serve their local groups and animal friends. This is not a discussion group of pet policy as all moderators here are exclusively from pet allowing groups. We recommend that you at least receive special notices to be aware of the latest organizational info. Here we share, discuss issues and challenges exclusively relating to pet issues. All organization issues are referred to the OIDG.

What you'll find in this group
Exclusive to Pet moderators from around the world, offering advice, opinions, fun stories from their own groups, commonly used ADMIN messages that can be used on your group, updates to issues within The Freecycle Network, links to resources to assist you, group promotional material and more. All designed to address the unique situations of pet moderators.

How to Join:
Membership in this group is by recommendation from your local group and by invitation only. For an invitation the group owner should email the owner’s address of this group with the following: 1) url of the group, 2) group owner’s name and email address, 3) PetMod’s name and email address
