Freecycle™ is for recycling useful items within communities. Clean out your space, keep stuff out of the landfill, help your neighbors, find homes for things you no longer use receive items you need.
Be a considerate group member. Please do not be a no show.

You MUST begin the Subject: line of _every_ message with an appropriate tag:

The rest is simple common sense:
- Everything, offered or wanted must be completely free (as in "free lunch"). However, you may offer to pay for postage or offer to pay to deliver a bulky item for gas money only.
- Keep it all legal, tangible, and appropriate for ALL ages including profiles and email addresses.
- That means: No services, no politics, no spam, no trades/barter/money, no promotion of your business, no signature line. Period.
- Reply to "Offered:" posts by sending an email directly to the offerer, not by posting to the whole group.
- Never post "it's out on the porch, first one here gets it" -type OFFERs. Work directly with a single individual to arrange pickup of your item(s).
If you have a digital picture of your offer, you can post it in the group's "Photos" section! (Remember to delete it when the item's gone.)
