Welcome to FREECYCLE NEWBURYPORT in Massachusetts.
This group is open to individuals, businesses, schools, and non-profit organizations in Newburyport, Newbury, West Newbury, Amesbury, Salisbury, Groveland, and Georgetown.
Our goal is to make it easy for everyone in the area to find new homes for good items rather than throw them away. In the process, we'll reduce waste, save precious resources, ease the burden on landfills, and connect with like-minded people.
You're welcome to post items to give away -- whether it's a chair, a fax machine, clothing, appliances, dishes, computer, or an old door. Or maybe you're looking for something? Feel free to ask for it! Either way, please mention where you live!
Main rule: Everything posted must be free, legal, and appropriate for all ages.

SUBJECT LINE FORMAT
1. Use either OFFER, WANTED, TAKEN, or RECEIVED in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, followed by a colon.
2. Type in the name of your item.
3. Write the location of the item at the end of the subject line.
Please *never* use all capitals anywhere but for the headers.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: TO JOIN - Five Steps
1. Be sure you live within our coverage area, in one of the seven towns or cities listed above.
2. Double check that you have set up the actual email address you want to use.
3. Click on Join This Group , the blue box.
4.. Read two emails sent to you, the Etiquette File and "Response Required" email questionnaire.
5. Reply with answers to four questions in questionnaire.
