Welcome to the Harford County, Maryland Freecycle™ Network! Our local Freecycle™ group is open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are also welcome to participate! One constraint: everything posted must be free. This group is brought to you by The Freecycle Network, a nonprofit organization and a movement of people interested in keeping good stuff out of landfills.

The Freecycle Network's Mission Statement is as follows: "Our mission is to build a worldwide gifting movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources eases the burden on our landfills while enabling our members to benefit from the strength of a larger community."

The primary purpose of Freecycle is to reduce waste and ease the burden our our landfills.
