Description

Welcome to the Harford County, Maryland Freecycle Network! Our local Freecycle group is open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are also welcome to participate! One constraint: everything posted MUST be free. This group is brought to you by The Freecycle Network, a nonprofit organization and a movement of people interested in keeping good stuff out of landfills.

The Freecycle Network's Mission Statement is as follows: "Our mission is to build a worldwide gifting movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources eases the burden on our landfills while enabling our members to benefit from the strength of a larger community."

The primary purpose of Freecycle is to reduce waste and ease the burden our our landfills.
