FreecycleDC is open to anyone who lives or works within Washington DC city limits. To join, please do the following:

1. Click the Join This Group button.

2. Enter your Washington DC neighborhood, street block and zipcode in the "Comments to the Owner" field.

If you do not live or work within Washington DC, please visit The Freecycle Network to find your closest Virginia (US Southern) or Maryland (US Northeast) groups.

FreecycleDC serves an environmentally aware and responsive community. It helps reduce consumption and waste by connecting people who are throwing away items with others who are seeking the same. Computers, furniture, clothing, magazines, sports equipment, and stuff in your closet - keep it out of landfills by giving it a new home.

The Basic Rules: Keep it free, legal, and appropriate for all ages. OFFERs must include a DC pickup location. Limit of one WANTED post per week per member.

PLEASE do not post your address to the list. This is for your privacy and protection. We will delete all post for OTC/Prescription and Pet Medications.
