Our goal is to reduce waste by connecting people who are throwing away unwanted things with others who would like to have them. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, a pair of shoes, or a piano, feel free to post it – one person’s trash is another’s treasure ! Whether you’re looking to discard or acquire an item, this is the place to do it !

No item is too big or too small, but ALL items posted must be 100% FREE – no money, no swapping, no trading, no barter, and no strings attached !

Freecycle Cape Town is affiliated to the rapidly growing Freecycle Network, a global non-profit grassroots organisation.

Anyone living in Cape Town (including non-profit groups) can join our community for free. Just click on the “Join This Group!” button at the top of this page.
